Died: 1838, in Mechanic Township, Holmes County, Ohio

Marriage: 7 April 1777 in Barnstead, Belknap County, New Hampshire to
Sobriety Bunker (1775 - 1830-1840).

 

Military: American Revolution. Served from 1775-1783 in the 2nd NH Regiment as as corporal. He was in the battles of Ticonderoga, Saratoga and others, being wounded several times.
     War of 1812. Served as private in Captain Bradford’s Company, Colonel Ripley's Twenty-first Regiment, U.S. Infantry and about 15 July 1813, while a prisoner on board a prison ship near Quebec, Canada, he was seized with dropsy from which he became entirely disabled, and was discharged 11 August 1814, at Boston, Massachusetts.
